Co-Founder, Director of IT Consulting/Networking
William is a highly driven individual and very reliable. He has over 5 years of Information Technology (I.T.) experience including database management, networking, website development, support, programming, etc. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Minnesota and followed it up with a professional certificate in Information Technology Infrastructure with emphasis in system, network, and database administration.
Prior to joining the UMGroup, Inc. William worked as an I.T. consultant in Illinois. He consulted with companies such as Allstates and Astellas Pharma. His responsibilities included system upgrade, data migration, network configuration, database, exchange server, Novell, users support, etc. In 2004 he consulted with the Fairview Hospitals in Minneapolis, MN where he trained doctors, nurses, NA, etc on their new clinical information system. He also did testing on the system before it went live in each hospital and supported the system in the hospital after it went live.
He also worked with various Liberian organizations and businesses including Sinoe County Association, Konola Alumni Association, Nextainment.com, etc. to name a few developing their website and online database. He also renders his services to his community helping individuals with PC repair/upgrade, custom builds PC, setting up home network, phone support, etc; hence cutting down cost they will get going to those big name companies.
He has vast computer skill in operating systems like DOS, UNIX, Windows 2000, XP, NT, and Windows Server 2003; in hardware like building, upgrading, repairing, and diagnosing computers; in programming languages like C, C+ +, Basic, VB, JavaScript, Perl, CGI, Java, SQL, HTML, ASP, Object-Oriented programming, ASP.NET, and Dream Weaver.
William was born and raised in Monrovia, Liberia. He attended St. Patrick High (1986 – 1989), Konola Academy (1989 -1990), and Zion Academy (1991 – 1992). He also obtained an Associate of Arts degree in computer science at Zion Community College in 1994.
